Omani artist Alia Al Farsi opens her first solo exhibition in Saudi Arabia
Omani artist Alia Al Farsi has opened her first exhibition in Saudi Arabia in collaboration with 015 Gallery in Riyadh. This exhibition includes a group of the Omani artist’s works that are being displayed to the public for the first time.
The exhibition comes on the occasion of the opening of the new 015 Gallery showroom in Mood Al Faisaliah, which is, as stated in the official statement, “a different beginning with added value to the community artistically and socially through the works of artist Alia Al Farsi, which are distinguished by the presence of a fingerprint and a story in each drawing, and also because of the artistic value that the artist carries at the level of the Arabian Gulf and globally.” On the other hand, the solo exhibition of artist Alia Al Farsi represents bridges of cultural and social communication between the Kingdom and the Sultanate.
Alia Al Farsi expressed her happiness to Harper’s Bazaar Arabia about this exhibition, saying, “This is not my first artistic participation in Saudi Arabia, but this is my first solo exhibition in the Kingdom and I am very happy to be here.”
